Do you Yahoo?

Yahoo makes it easy to stay in touch and up-to-date with everyone and everything that’s happening in the world around you. Getting started is easy. You can access Yahoo services using your favorite web browser and assistive technology on a personal computer or mobile device.

If you use a smartphone or tablet, we highly recommend using Yahoo apps available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Apps are downloadable on your mobile device at no cost (Internet access fees may apply) and offer the convenience of instant access wherever you are. In addition to their simplicity they also take advantage of the built in accessibility features in iOS and Android.

Follow the links below to learn more about how to access Yahoo using mobile apps or your favorite web browser.

Improve Your Experience—Use a Yahoo ID

Many Yahoo mobile apps and Yahoo web sites work better when you log in using a Yahoo ID and password. In some cases, like Mail, Messenger, and Tumblr, a Yahoo ID is required to authenticate that it’s really you sending a message or posting a blog article. Logging in also enables changes you make to settings and preferences to be remembered so you don’t have to set them over again—even when you log in from a different device. So for example, if you adjust the closed captioning font, color, and background on the Yahoo Screen web site, the next time you log in to Yahoo Screen, captions will appear using the same settings. Logging in can also enable access to additional features and even improve how some features like search work. And of course, using a Yahoo ID is a great way to help prevent unauthorized access to your online information.

If you have a email address, then you already have a Yahoo ID. Your username is your email address ending in and your password is your email password. If you don’t have a Yahoo ID, you should get one. It’s easy. Just click the button below named “Create a Yahoo ID” and complete the simple form. Everything you ever wanted to know about Yahoo IDs, including how to create a good password and how to reset a forgotten password, can be found on the Yahoo Account Help Page.
